EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP

Jeanine Hunter

Founder & Executive Director

Jeanine Hunter is the Founder and Executive Director of Soul Flo Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing holistic health education, wellness resources, and healing opportunities for underserved communities.

After living with Multiple Sclerosis for more than a decade, Jeanine experienced firsthand the challenges many individuals face in accessing wellness education, preventive health resources, and supportive healing practices. Her personal journey inspired a mission to help bridge those gaps through community-centered programs focused on stress reduction, holistic wellness, education, and empowerment.

In addition to leading Soul Flo Foundation, Jeanine is a Certified Natural Health Professional, Certified Meditation Coach, Certified Life Coach, Certified Aromatherapist, and wellness advocate. Through her work, she is committed to creating accessible pathways to healing so individuals and communities can thrive physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Jeanine believes that wellness should not be a privilege—it should be accessible to everyone.

"When people are given access to knowledge, support, and wellness resources, communities become healthier, stronger, and more resilient.".

Tamara J. McGriff

Secretary

Tamara is a passionate advocate for holistic health and wellness in the African American community, serving as Secretary of the Board for soul Flo Foundation.

With nearly three decades of leadership experience in the insurance industry, she brings a strong foundation in organization, accountability, and team development. In her current role as a Team Manager for a third-party claims administrator, she leads a team of 10 professionals, ensuring efficiency and care in complex systems—skills she now channels into community impact work.

Her passion for this mission is rooted in lived experience. When her sister was diagnosed with lupus at just 23 years old, she witnessed the daily realities of chronic pain and inflammation. Through that journey, she also saw the power of alternative approaches—particularly CBD—in providing relief and improving quality of life.

This experience ignited a deeper purpose: to help bridge the gap in access, education, and trust around holistic wellness in the African American community. Through her work, she is committed to creating space for healing, awareness, and empowerment.
